Honor a Veteran Today…

By remembering him or her.

If, during your day you walk past a war monument or VFW in your town, stop.  Read the names listed.  Take out a piece of paper (if you are old school) or use you cell phone and ‘note’ one or two, or twenty of the names.  Load a photo of the Memorial on your computer as your screen saver, or fold that retro piece of paper and keep it in your wallet…because those names are the last public rememberance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We are all STILL free today because they paid the price of us.  Our Country and our American culture.

Thank a Veteran today, and remember them every tomorrow.

Thank you for your kind words, and for stopping by. I appreciate the support…I am going to figure out the ‘links’ to others’ blogs real soon (need more hours in the day!) Hugs, MQ-C

Hopefully you are well aware of what a fantastic writer you are, and I absolutely am jealous of your clever wit/snark that I seem so devoid of. Love reading things that make you smile as you read (even if the topic is not so pleasant). great talent.
